Hero Vida V1
On October 7, 2022, Hero Motocorp introduced the Hero Vida V1 in India. This scooter is the company’s first electric two-wheeler under the new Vida label. In addition, the business has been teasing the new electric scooter for a while.
The Vida V1 receives a stylish design aesthetic that combines retro and future aesthetics. It has a slick fascia that displays an LED headlamp configuration that resembles a robot’s face.
The Hero Vida V1 would be available in the Vida V1 Pro and Vida V1 Plus versions. The top speed of both variations would be 80 kmph. Both versions come with more than 100 possible usage combinations, depending on whether performance or efficiency is needed.
On October 10, 2022, reservations for the scooter will open. The Vida V1 e-scooters are now only provided in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Jaipur, with additional destinations coming soon. Bookings start taking place on October 10 and deliveries start the second week in December.

Hero Vida V1 battery, Range and Performance
The Vida V1 Pro receives a larger 3.94kWh battery, resulting in a higher claimed range of 165km, as opposed to the smaller 3.44kWh battery that powers the Vida V1 Plus. The V1 e-electric scooter’s motor, which powers both variations to a maximum output of 6kW and an advertised top speed of 80kph, is the same.
The V1 Pro accelerates from 0 to 40 kilometres per hour in 3.2 seconds, outpacing the V1 Plus, which completes the task in 3.4 seconds. With a passenger on board, Hero claims both scooters can climb severe inclines (up to 20 degrees) even when the battery is only 60 percent charged.
When connected to a fast charger, both variations can also be charged quickly at a pace of 1.2 km/min. The V1 Plus charges from 0 to 80 percent on a home charger in 5 hours and 15 minutes, while the V1 Pro takes 5 hours and 55 minutes.
Hero Vida V1 Design
With its crowded LED DRL configuration, two-tone paint job, handlebar-mounted turn indicators, and fairly unique rear end design, the Vida V1 has a rather odd appearance.
The Hero Vida V1 electric scooter would look boxy. With flat side panels and striking LED headlamps up front, the scooter has an unusual appearance. The scooter will also have grey-finished 5-spoke alloy wheels with front telescopic forks.
With a starting price of Rs 1 lakh, the Hero Vida V1 EV would face stiff competition from the other electric scooters presently available on the Indian market. It is anticipated that it would compete with models like the Bajaj Chetak, TVS iQube, Ola S1, Ather 450, and others that fall into the same category.
