The Lotus Electre Electric SUV<\/a> can go 600 kilometers without needing to be recharged. Its power is over 600 horsepower, allowing it to attain a speed of 260 km\/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km\/h in less than three seconds, thanks to two electric motors on each axle.<\/p>\n

Lotus has released a new symbol called Eletre. It is the latest in a long series of Lotus road vehicles with names beginning with the letter E, which signifies’ Coming to Life in various Eastern European languages. It’s a fitting connection since the Eletre ushers in a new era as the first accessible EV and the first SUV in Lotus’s history.<\/p>\n

When you press the button on the key or the smartphone app, you’ll experience a unique moment of theatre in the automobile world. The external lights flash quickly, the active front grille ‘breathes,’ and the lighted flush door handles appear. As the door closes behind the person, the same thing happens inside the automobile.<\/p>\n

Another area where the Lotus Electre Electric SUV excels is battery recharging, which takes only 20 minutes at the outlet while charging at full power of 350 kW to attain a range of 400 kilometers.<\/p>\n

The Lotus Electre Electric SUV boasts a 600HP starting power output, a driving range of 373 miles on a full charge, the capacity to travel from 0 to 62 miles per hour in less than three seconds, four-wheel drive, and a 350kW charge time of just 20 minutes for 248 miles of driving, according to the Lotus statement.<\/p>\n

The automobile can also take 22kW AC charging, cutting the charging time in half. It also has four driving modes (Range, Tour, Sport, Off-Road, and Individual), which let you customise the steering, suspension settings, engine, and accelerator pedal responsiveness.<\/p>\n

The Lotus Electre Electric SUV<\/strong> has the world’s first deployable LiDAR technology in a production automobile and the most sophisticated active aerodynamics package on any production SUV.<\/p>\n
