It seems like everyone in the investment community is talking about EV (electric vehicles) stocks and only the big ones in Tesla, Rivian, and Lucid. One EV company that has been flying under the radar – that is, until it had big news at this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show is Fisker Inc. Fisker, founded and led by legendary automotive designer Henrik Fisker, manufactured the new Fisker Electric Car production version of their Ocean EV SUV. It aims to range in excess of 350 miles from a four-wheel-drive twin-engine configuration producing 540 horsepower. While these are notable numbers, there are other EVs in this price range that can compete with those numbers, the real twist here is the base Ocean, called the Ocean Sport, which uses a shorter-range battery and front-wheel drive just that above all state and local incentives will start at $ 37,499.

The Fisker Ocean 2022 is the upcoming small electric SUV from famous automobile designer Henrik Fisker. Fisker is known for its sensational sports car creations, including the BMW Z8, the Aston Martin DB9, and its own short-lived hybrid luxury sedan, the Fisker Karma.

The Fisker Electric Car Ocean is the first of its mass-market vehicles, with a promised starting price of $ 37,499, but for the base Ocean Sport, which Fisker says will not be available until after the vehicle debuts in late 2022 or Early 2023. Instead, Fisker will launch the Ocean One, which costs $68,999.

While most electric cars at this price point tend to be hatchbacks rather than crossovers, the Ocean’s dimensions suggest a true SUV profile. It’s roughly the same size as a Tesla Model Y, albeit a bit wider and lower. Combined with an estimated 25 cubic feet of storage space behind the back seat, the Ocean looks like a fairly typical small SUV from a size perspective.
