The updated R15 V4 has come with the same powertrain as the current model. It is powered by a BS6-compliant single-cylinder engine with fuel injection and VVA technology.
It comes with a 6-speed gearbox and will also have an assisted and slip-clutch system. 10,000 rpm and 14.1 Nm maximum torque at 8,500 rpm. The new model’s powertrain could be modified for slightly better performance.

Like the mighty Yamaha R6, this super sports car is built around a Deltabox frame with an aluminium swingarm. The R15 V4 is equipped with telescopic forks at the front and a monochrome handlebar suspension at the rear.

R15 V4 Design and Features
There are no major changes in the dimensions of the new R15 V4. Yamaha added new features to this super sports bike like Bluetooth connectivity. This super sports bike features a redesigned LED headlight instead of a dual-LED setup on the V3 model.
The Yamaha R15 V4 will be equipped with a fully digital instrument console such as the Yamaha R25.
The Yamaha R15 V4 adopts the new design language of the Yamaha R series. So instead of the dual LED headlight setup, you have a biLED headlight flanked by LED daytime running lights on both sides.
The side panels have also been updated. This has reduced the coefficient. Air resistance from 0.307 to 0.293 However, the rear end of the bike has not been changed and remains the same as the R15 V3.
The Yamaha R15 V4 features a new digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity via the Yamaha connect app. Its instrument cluster now includes call/text alerts, phone battery status and even a stopwatch. Yamaha has equipped the bike with two display modes: Street and Race.

Yamaha R15 V4 Price in India
The new R15 V4 recently underwent a spy test. The spied version of the R15 was camouflaged but appeared to be ready for series production.
The price of the Yamaha R15 V4 in India is expected to be around 1,65,000 rupees (ex-showroom price). It will compete with the KTM RC 125, Suzuki Gixxer SF, Bajaj Pulsar RS200 and KTM RC 200 in the Indian market.
