Another Bengaluru-based startup, Oben Electric, is venturing into the Indian electric vehicle market. Dinkar and Madhumita Agarwal, a Bengaluru couple, designed and developed the first electric bike for Indian startup Oben Rorr Electric Bike in December 2021. The startup’s electric bike has already received 16 patents and is currently being tested on selected roads. Oben Rorr, an electric motorcycle, has now been released for the Indian market. as it has revealed its upcoming Oben Rorr Electric Bike, which will debut in the Indian market in April, with deliveries beginning in the second quarter of 2022. The Oben Rorr e-bike has a top speed of 100 km/h and a range of 200 km on a single charge. Furthermore, the company stated that the new Oben Rorr electric bike will be competitively priced, ranging between Rs. 1 lakh and Rs. 1.50 lakh.

Oben Rorr Electric Bike Price
Oben Rorr is available in India for a starting price of Rs 1,24,999. (Including state subsidies). Prospective buyers can pre-order the EV from Oben Electric’s official website for Rs 999. The electric vehicle will be available in a number of Indian cities, including Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Surat, and Jaipur.
The company provides a three-year or 60,000-kilometer warranty on the electric vehicle’s battery and motor. In addition, the user has the option of extending the warranty for another two years. From June 2022, the electric vehicle is expected to reach the buyer’s threshold.
