The engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, and the entire ladder-frame car is equipped with comfortable air suspension. By aiming for the stars, Jeep also hopes to decimate local luxury giants in the United States, such as the Cadillac Escalade and the Lincoln Navigator. So how good is it really?

Jeep Grand Wagoneer 2022 Price

It gets a bigger engine, a standard 4×4 system, standard air suspension, and even more luxury accessories than the Wagoneer. Jeep Grand Wagoneer Price (Expected) is $81,899.

Jeep Grand Wagoneer Exterior

There is so much you can do with a box. The Jeep’s paved size left little room for the design department for glitter, and thank goodness for that. The large luxury SUV segment is currently dominated by huge grilles that parade like vehicles.

Jeep’s famous seven-slot grille is the right size and tastefully integrated. We also love the slim LED headlights, contemporary chrome accents, and distinctive alloy wheels. The triple panoramic roof is also standard across the range.

Jeep Grand Wagoneer Dimensions

The Grand Wagoneer shares its exterior dimensions with the standard Wagoneer. It has a length of 214.7 inches, a width of 83.6 inches, and a wheelbase of 123 inches. It is 75.6 inches tall. Standard air suspension lowers the body when the car is parked. The height of the loading floor and the height of the threshold step are lower than those of the standard Wagoneer.

Without the air suspension, the Wagoneer’s off-road numbers aren’t worth bragging about. The Grand Wagoneer can boast with good reason, as it has approach/breakthrough/departure angles of 25/22/24 degrees respectively.

The Grand Wagoneer is quite heavy with a larger engine in the front and an original 4×4 transmission. Series I has a curb weight of 6,430 lbs and Series III exceeds 6,420 lbs.

Length 214.7 in
Wheelbase  123.0 in
Height  75.6 in
Max Width  83.6 in
Front Width  68.5 in
Rear Width  68.3 in
Curb Weight  6,340.0 lbs

Jeep Grand Wagoneer Exterior Colors

Jeep is famous for offering a large selection of exterior colors with interesting names like Snazberry. However, the Grand Wagoneer is too developed for this. The color scheme is very Germanic, otherwise known as the gray selection, a grayer and lighter gray. Even the names appear to have been made up in a corporate office park on a gray Tuesday morning in Munich.

Jeep Grand Wagoneer Red

Each Wagoneer has a transparent black roof and struts. You can combine it at no cost with Bright White or spend an additional $554 on the eight color options available. The options are Midnight Sky, Baltic Gray, SilverZynith, River Rock, Velvet Red, Ember Pearl, Rocky Mountain, and Luxury White.

The Obsidian trim is confined to Midnight Sky, Baltic Gray, Silver-Zynith, Ember Pearl, and Bright White. This is to make sure that its Black Onyx outdoors adornments do not conflict with the hue.

For $554, Jeep will paint the entire Grand Wagoneer in Diamond Black Crystal Pearl.

Engine and Transmission

Jeep uses an old-school engine combined with a modern gearbox. The Grand Wagoneer needs as much gear as possible because the power band is exceptionally tight. Peak power of 471 horsepower is delivered at 6,000 rpm, while maximum torque of 455 lb-ft comes in at just 4,400 rpm. Maximum engine speed is limited to 6,400 rpm, which means you have access to the entire horse stable for just 400 rpm.

While cruising, the gearbox ensures that you never reach maximum power. It will change before you approach the red line in pursuit of maximum energy efficiency. The transmission is very similar to that of a well-trained butler, doing business quietly. need a sudden boost of energy, this butler is instantly at your fingertips with a double dose of espresso.

The Quadra-Trac II 4WD system is standard on the Grand Wagoneer and features a two-speed transfer case. You can manually enter the low range or choose from Auto, Towing, Snow, Mud, Sand, Rock or Sport and the car will do it all for you.

The sport mode could play tempting, but the great wagoneer is at its best car. In this mode, the car treats the engine like the lazy hunk that it is, never hitting the last 400 rpm. Automatic mode is not only good for fuel consumption but also adapts perfectly to the nature of the car. Sit back, relax, and hold the throttle just above the tick.

Engine  6.4L V8 Gas
Transmission  8-Speed Automatic
Drivetrain  4X4
Fuel Tank Capacity  26.5 Gallons
Fuel Economy  City/Hwy, 13/18 mpg

Jeep Grand Wagoneer Interior

For several decades, Jeeps have had an uncertain interior. Some of them still do. But the brand took a big step forward with the 2011 Grand Cherokee. It wasn’t up to European standards, but it looked and felt better than anything Jeep had produced before.

Each model comes standard with high-quality leather and real wood finishes. The seats are superb and the amount of technology is mind-boggling. In terms of technology, the Grand Wagoneer outperforms all of its competitors, both local and international. beats both Escalade and Navigator.

Seating and Interior Space

The standard seating configuration of the Grand Wagoneer includes 2 seats in the front, captain’s seats in the 2nd row, and a bench seat in the third row. We wouldn’t try to put three adults side by side in the 3rd row, but it is more than capable of accommodating two. the first row has 41.3 inches of headroom and 40.9 inches of legroom.  Even if you choose the optional three-row bench seat in the second row, the legroom remains at 42.7 inches, while the headroom is allegedly 40 inches. The third row has 39 inches of headroom and 36.6 inches of legroom. That’s more space than what you get in the second row of a BMW 3 Series.
